In the Course of the Last Plenary Week of the Fifth Session, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has an Intention to suggest the Parliament Scrutiny of certain Legislative Initiatives elaborated by Him.
Volodymyr Lytvyn declared it giving the answers to the journalists´ questions in Kyiv city on Monday adding that first of all it concerns the issue on elections to the Kyiv State Council and Kyiv Mayor that are supposed to be held on 30 May.
"I am convinced that there are numerous grounds for it. Everything that happens in Kyiv does not let Ukrainian citizens indifferent. Moreover, it would be peculiar test for the parliamentary factions and Ukrainian politicians", - he added.
V. Lytvyn would also suggest the Parliament scrutiny of the resolution draft On Cessation of the Privatization of the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Odeska Kinoindustria" Blocks of Shares. The document suggests temporary cessation of the closed joint-stock company "Odeska Kinoindustria" Blocks of Shares privatization as well as its transference into the lease.
Among other legislative initiatives, there are propositions to adopt certain number of resolutions concerning the credit unions activity "as it is the topic that is going to explode soon."
The Head of the Parliament also would suggest the People´s Deputies overcome the President´s veto put on the Law on Moratorium on Agricultural Lands Sale until the year 2012.
"Of course, the first round of President´s election would be widely discussed in the course of the next plenary week", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
